Yesterday, Wednesday 26th Februrary 2020 Revd. Alison Wallbank very kindly led a special Ash Wednesday Service for us in Church.  She explained the significance of Ash Wednesday and how it marks the start of Lent and takes its name from the ritual of placing ashes on the forehead of worshippers.
