On Wednesday 13th February Bowes Hutchinson’s took 2 teams to the Staindrop Academy Netball Competition. There were 2 separate competitions. The A team were beaten in their final after playing very well in qualifying and the B team were undefeated all afternoon – winning one game 15-0 !

KS2 children have been to a Multi skills festival today at Staindrop Academy. 14 children took part in long jump, obstacle courses, orienteering, cricket skills and capture the flag. The children developed their skills and had a great time. Thanks to Adam at Staindrop Academy and his Sports Leaders
Today Bowes Hutchinson’s took part in the Staindrop Academy Cricket Competition at Raby Castle. The team of Year 3 and 4 children did well, winning 2 games and coming a close 2nd in another 2. There was some big hitting, excellent bowling and fielding from all members of the team.
The latest MAT (More able and talented) after school sports event at Staindrop Academy was extremely well attended by Bowes Hutchinson’s again. Out of the 11 children there, 8 were from Bowes, and brought their own racquets for tennis. The children improved their athletics and tennis skills.
