Trip To Meet An Astronaut

On Monday, the whole school went to the Xcel Centre in Newton Aycliffe to listen to a talk by Michael Foale, an astronaut who has been on six space missions.  He told us about his life and how he became an astronaut.  Some of our children were lucky enough to be able to ask questions, Aidan asked what fuel is used in the rockets and Emily L asked if they ate pasta in space! The children had an enjoyable day and a great experience.
